IB - Teacher Secondary -(Biology)

IB Secondary Biology Teacher – Job Description (Short & Clear)

  • Deliver Biology lessons as per International Baccalaureate (IB) MYP/DP curriculum
  • Plan unit plans, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with IB standards
  • Promote inquiry-based, concept-driven, and student-centered learning
  • Conduct lab experiments ensuring safety and proper procedures
  • Assess student progress using IB criteria and provide timely feedback
  • Guide students in Internal Assessments (IA) and Extended Essays (EE)
  • Maintain academic records, reports, and documentation
  • Use technology and innovative teaching strategies in class
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events
  • Support students’ overall academic and personal development
